| Introduction | |
|
We originally planned to take two Land Rover 110s from London to Cape Town. Since we started planning we have been joined by a third Rover belonging to John Laing (see www.falconoldboys.com for details of his Rover). The vehicles have been prepared by Foley Specialist Vehicles in Essex. Thanks to Paul, Stuart and their team for all their hard work the vehicles look superb! |

Insurance The vehicles are insured for damage and theft through Alexander Forbes. Expensive and with a hefty excess but worth the protection. Carnet de Passage Arranged with the RAC. Much cheaper to arrange a bank indemnity than the RL Davidson insurance option offered by the RAC but an administrative and time consuming task to set up. Shipping Back to the UK Details still to be confirmed. Likely to be arranged through Foley Specialist Vehicles from Walvis Bay in Namibia. |
